We are so grateful for all of our generous donors! With your continued support we can make sure the peers are an accessible resource for all Terps, not only as workshop facilitators, but through campus-wide events as well. Last month, our peer educators hosted a fair, "Step UP for Spring Break" to encourage students to proactively think about being an active bystander while enjoying Spring Break away from campus. This month our peers are hosting tons of events for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the calendar can be found HERE. We look forward to enhancing our programs each year and are so appreciative of all of the donors that allow us to do so.
Our peer educators are passionate and strongly believe in educating their peers, directing students to resources, reducing stigma around these health & wellness issues, and modeling the behaviors of a positive bystander. With two weeks left there's still time to share our message, help us reach our goal of $8000, and support the peers that do so much to promote wellness on campus!

You have just supplied one of our peers with an official University of Maryland name tag. This keeps us accountable and students can now identify and address us by name both in and out of the classroom.
Quality backpacks are a life saver. Anybody who has visited the University of Maryland knows our campus is HUGE. We give presentations in-between our own class schedules and your purchase makes carrying our props, consent forms, evaluations, and more both easier and neater.

Eight peers can now be identified as expert peer educators thanks to the official University of Maryland Polos that you have provided for us. Not only is this great for the peers and student audience members, but it’s great that instructors will readily identify us when we get to the classroom.
CARE, CHOICES, HEALTH Works, SHARE, & Step UP Coordinators all have interns that works closely with them to deliver these messages throughout the year. With your donation these 5 students are the first to be fully outfit in our new professional gear!
