The world needs engineers. It needs better, faster diagnostic tests; solutions to environmental problems, improved infrastructure, new modes of travel, understanding and managing big data; and less flammable batteries. The Clark School serves as the catalyst for visionary research, innovation and learning, delivering on a promise that all graduates will leave ready to impact the challenges of the 21st century.
Yet, 1 in 3 undergraduate engineering students face unmet financial need and uncertainty in their ability to complete their degree.
In today’s challenging economic environment, many worthy students are still searching for the support they need to complete their education. Scholarships help to attract outstanding students to the school, and also to retain students facing economic hardships.
Our goal for Giving Tuesday is to raise the funds to support a student's full in-state tuition for the spring semester.
Please consider making a gift today in support of the transformative power of an engineering education. Together, we can help to ensure that no student with the grit and determination to solve society's most pressing challenges is sidelined by financial insecurity.
