Professional Development for Alumni
Your Alumni Association offers career programming for all stages of your professional journey, from career bootcamps with Mission Collaborative, to mentoring and networking programs that connect Terps, to masterclass workshops and seminars that help Terps rise from middle managers to senior executives.
Supporting EnTERPreneurs
Our enTERPreneur program specializes in content for Terps interested in business ownership. Signature programs include our Terp Entrepreneur Network (TEN) Conference, #TerpBusiness campaign and the Terp Referral Exchange business directory (coming 2021).
Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives
Diversity and inclusion is the cornerstone of our work. We tirelessly pursue diverse and inclusive engagement in our programming through such events as Black Alumni Weekend, the Latinx Heritage Month and Pride Month festivities.
Health and Fitness
With the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down gyms and restaurants, the Alumni Association stepped into gear to provide Terps with fun and healthy options to stay fit and eat well. Free fitness and yoga classes, cooking demos and even a Terp Cookbook - all led by Terp instructors and chefs - are a few of the ways we are supporting Terps’ mental and physical well-being.

Gifts in support of the University of Maryland are accepted and managed by the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, Inc., an affiliated 501(c)(3) organization authorized by the Board of Regents. Contributions to the University of Maryland are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please see your tax advisor for details.
The Alumni Association promotes Terp-owned businesses by providing free marketing on our website and social media channels. Each post is written by a professional freelance writer (all Terp alumni, of course!), which provides high-quality advertising for enTERPreneurs. Support Terp-owned businesses with a $25 gift.
Gym membership not required! The Alumni Association has hired Terp fitness trainers, yoga instructors and professional chefs to lead free classes during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure Terps everywhere can stay strong physically and mentally. Support our efforts with a $50 gift.
Support the creation of a Terp Referral Exchange business directory, a searchable online database for Terp-owned businesses to network with other enTERPreneurs and connect with a growing base of Terp customers. Your $100 gift will help fund this new platform, coming 2021.
The Alumni Association is committed to expanding our programming that supports diversity, equity and inclusion for alumni and students. Your $250 gift supports initiatives such as a new mentoring program to connect Black honors students with alumni mentors, alumnae leadership programs, and alumni networks like Lambda Pride LGBTQ+ Terps and Latinx Terps.
Support alumni looking for career opportunities through a gift of $500. This will cover a speaker’s fee for an expert-led workshop or webinar to help Terps advance their careers.
