GT FY21: SPH Student Emergency Scholarships

ABOUT US

Built on a foundation of disciplines that originated over 150 years ago with the formation of the University of Maryland, the School of Public Health was founded in 2007 and is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.

Our mission is to promote and protect the health and well-being of the diverse communities throughout Maryland, the nation, and the world through leadership and collaboration in interdisciplinary education, research, practice, and public policy.

COVID-19 IMPACT ON OUR STUDENTS

The School of Public Health Student Emergency Scholarship Fund supports students who are confronted with economic hardships that could prevent them from being able to remain in school.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are many students who are facing economic hardships due to work disruptions and illness among family members. Donations to this fund will help support these students in need and help ensure they are able to remain in school and continue to pursue their public health education.

Gifts in support of the University of Maryland are accepted and managed by the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, Inc., an affiliated 501(c)(3) organization authorized by the Board of Regents. Contributions to the University of Maryland are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please see your tax advisor for details.
