One Big Week gifts to the Student Crisis Fund is the best option to quickly respond to students in need of financial assistance. Since 2020, the UMD Student Crisis Fund has distributed more than $2.1 million to nearly 4,000 students and, even now, the need for emergency student assistance continues.
The Student Crisis Fund provides financial support when a verified crisis has negatively impacted a student's health, safety, well-being, and their ability to continue their education. As a new academic year begins, we want to ensure that we can continue to provide this vital resource to our community.
A gift of any amount to the Student Crisis Fund will make a direct difference in the lives of Maryland students. This support makes a world of difference for Terps who need it, allowing them to focus on their education at Maryland. The more financial support we have, the more students we can help.
Gifts in support of the University of Maryland are accepted and managed by the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, Inc., an affiliated 501(c)(3) organization authorized by the Board of Regents.
