BSOS Study Abroad Scholarship Fund

Support the BSOS Study Abroad Scholarship Fund on #GivingTuesday!

Please consider supporting the BSOS Study Abroad Scholarship Fund TODAY. Each donation raised will directly support study abroad scholarships for undergraduate students with unmet need, ensure that global learning opportunities are inclusive and accessible, and help strengthen the next generation of global leaders.

Your gift will help us give our students the world, and will have both an immediate and lifelong impact.

During the 2022-2023 academic year, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences provided $23,000 in study abroad scholarship support to 23 BSOS undergraduate students. From criminology and criminal justice students studying human trafficking in Cape Town, South Africa to anthropology students unearthing unknown parts of the past in Lackaghane, County Cork, Ireland, these students were able to start thinking critically about how they can Be the Solution to the world’s great challenges. We want to help more BSOS students have similar experiences this year!

To learn more about the itemized cost of study abroad programs at UMD, please visit the Education Abroad website

Share the news about your donation on social media with #BSOSGivingTuesday to help us raise even more awareness and funds!
